General League Information

• Almost all official communication between teams and leagues is held through “Discord”.  You must have an account to be on the team.

• There are two regular seasons; the Fall (Sep.-Dec.) and Spring (Feb.-Apr.).  You can compete in one or both, but just know that final championships are exclusively in the Spring (Apr.-Jun).

• You will have set days every week in each league to compete in the game(s) you choose to participate in. 

  • • EGF match times are set at 3:15pm ET but are negotiable for other dates/times as long as both parties agree through “Discord” app at least 3 hours before the match and the match is completed ASAP.  Team captains (appointed by the team itself) will be in charge of scheduling for EGF matches through Discord communication.

    • PlayVS match times are set for 4pm ET and cannot be changed as it is based on a queue system online.

    • IHSEN match times are set for 5pm ET and can only be changed in extreme circumstances.

• Regular seasons are 7-10 weeks, followed by 2-3 post-season knockout weeks.  The following are the only two competitions that will potentially require travel.  The rest can be done locally from our school or your home.

  • • The EGF national championship is held in San Antonio, TX in approx. late May.  It only takes the top 6-10 teams of each game from both collective seasons.  

    • The IHSEN state championship is held in Noblesville, IN in late April.  It only takes the top 2 teams remaining after regular seasons and playoffs have finished.
